The St. Mark’s Parish Life committee coordinates activities throughout the year to help promote fellowship among our members, new and old, and strengthen the bonds of our parish family. There are numerous opportunities throughout the year to come together, so please join us!
Holy Chow The first and third week from mid-September to June, Sunday morning breakfast is served at 9:00 am for you and your family. Holy Chow is a great opportunity to have a quick meal before Sunday School and take a moment to break bread with your fellow parishioners.
Parish Picnics Every spring around the Fest of St. Mark's we celebrate by having a church picnic. This past spring, we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Martha Rivers Park for our annual Spring Parish Picnic. We had great food (prepared by Kevin Knight), great Tony’s ice cream (provided by Alex & Terri Williamson), and old-fashioned picnic games with prizes (coordinated by Peggy Knight & John Anderson). If you missed it, plan to join us again Sunday, October 28, for our annual Fall Parish Picnic and Pumpkin Carving.
Social Groups We currently have three social groups in our Parish; Young Couples & Singles, Middlers and The Grand Group. These groups meet 2-3 times per year. If you are interested in hosting an event for your age group (take your pick!!), please contact Pam Dills.
Golf Tourney Parish Life will once again host our annual Golf Tournament in the Fall. Details are coming soon.
Softball Team St. Mark's Lions softball team is made up of men and women who play in an interdenominational league each spring. We are always looking for the young and foolish to join us. For more information contact Greg Dills.
Food, Fellowship, and More Food Throughout the year we gather for Lenten Dinners, or Christmas caroling, or monthly cover dish suppers. We have a saying, "Feed them and they will come." Like many of the stories about Jesus we spend much of our time together sitting down at table. This time not only strengthens our bonds to one and other, but also builds us up spiritually.

Parish Life is for you if are interested in helping with picnics, dinners, retreats, social groups, holiday events, etc. If you are interested in sponsoring and/or helping to organize a variety of social/fellowship activities throughout the year, please let us know.
Of course every can attend our church events, but we would like to involve persons of all ages in the planning and execution of our Parish Life sponsored activities. We hope to ensure that the entire parish community participates in as many of our activities/events as possible, through effective communications.
